Willie Daniels (1950 - 2021) works have sometimes been mistaken for premiere Highwaymen painter Harold Newton. Willie and his brother Johnny, joined the Highwaymen group at a very young age. The Daniels brothers credited Harold Newton as their greatest inspiration and influence.
Inducted into the Florida Artists Hall of Fame in 2004 and included in the prestigious Art in Embassies program at the U.S. Department of State, most Highwaymen enthusiasts agree Willie Daniels’ work is extraordinary.
