Oil on Canvas
Although a multi-media artist, Eleanor Robertson prefers working with the deep, vibrant color of oil paint. Being a native West Texan, she studies the natural beauty of that area with the goal of bringing it out vividly on canvas and blending a mixture of earth and sky into a harmonious setting. She uses intricate detail to give her paintings a bold, beautiful setting full of contrasts. She was a student of Ben Konis, William Earl, Ann Templeton, Howard Carr and Warren Taylor, and influenced by them as well as Old Masters and other Southwest artists, she strives for a unique style all her own.
