Washington artist Castle spent almost two decades in St. Augustine and had his own studio. He maintained a studio in Munich in the late 80’s and 90’s and held various exhibitions in Munich, Eichstatt and Berlin. His work was featured in studios in France, Italy, Austria, Romania, Hungary and Scandinavia. His style is very reminiscent of fellow plain air painter Emmet Fritz.
