A Neapolitan painter, born January 21, 1839, he studied at the Institute of Fine Arts in Naples, where he repeatedly won awards. A specialist in landscape painting, especially the Gulf of Naples area, he also painted in Athens, Greece, where he resided for two years. He created several portraits in Bari, then returning to Naples, exhibiting his work frequently.
