This beautiful forest landscape was painted by Greek artist Stefanos Sideris (Greek 1921 - 2014).  Born in Athens, Greece, 1921.  Receiving his education at the E.O.N. Art School, he was awarded first prize for the Attica Messagion Competition.  He continued his studies followed by three successful exhibitions in Athens, Salonica, and Pireaus.   Recognized by the press his reviews in 'Provoli' reported "Sideris is an artist who will achieve great heights."   In 1961 an exhibition at the Gallery of Art in Athens earned him praise from renowned art critic, Constantopolous who claimed Sideris destined for success.
